Over the years, the Department has carved a niche'through scintillating results, research, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.It has a strong team of faculty members undergoing research in frontline subjects like nanotechnology, luminescence, material science and theoretical physics. The Department always attempts to impart momentum to budding engineers and discovering potential in them. Many R & D assignments like biannual seminars, fortnightly follow-up of research, publishing and presenting research papers in National and International Journals & conferences are regularly taken up.
